Description: The Yourlazy is an extremely vicious creature which lives in the shadows of the real world. It survives using its multiple fangs to suck the productivity out of unexpecting prey. Before 1950 there had never been any evidence of the existence of the Yourlazy. Suggestions of the creatures existence only appeared with the wide spread adaptation of television in the Western world, particularly the United States of America. At the time the creature was more of a myth than a real creature. Stories of strange bit marks appearing on ones limbs after extended periods of watching television began to circulate among the public. It was not until the introduction of highly heat sensitive infrared cameras in the late 1960s that the existence of the creature was justified. It took almost 20 years for the creature to be better understood by scientists. This was mainly due to the creature being miraculously difficult to capture as it moves at extremely high speeds, only very rarely standing still. Towards the late 1980 the creature’s presence in societies around the world was being felt. The Yourlazy’s population had increased by 300% since its first discovery. With the introduction of the internet in the mid 1990s the population began a rapid expansion, one which scientists had never seen before. By 2008 it was estimated that the world wide population of the Yourlazy had reached 100,000,000,000 (One Hundred Billion). In Australia this was estimated to be 40,000,000 (Forty million), or four times the population human.
Where is the creature?
The Yourlazy moves at extremely high speeds. It is the fastest ground animal known to man. It is capable of moving at almost the speed of sound. Scientists are not completely sure how the creature achieves this as no fast shutter camera is fast enough to capture the movement of its legs, making it difficult to study. The Yourlazy does however stand still on occasion. If you look very closely at a one meter square for a period of 10-15 mins you will be able to catch a glimpse of the creature!
The Habitat
This habitat has been specially designed for Yourlazy. Since the creature does not have a defined habitat of its own, scientists had to computer generate this one. The design takes into account the creatures desire to dwell in the shadows while also providing entertainment. Although it may appear slightly dull and poorly designed a first the Habitat has actually been carefully colourized to suit what the creature night desire. Dark, unwelcoming, hostile colours are used to make the creature feel as if it is in the shadows all the time. The purple ROCKCLOUDS above your head are actually carefully configured lighting which is very unpleasant for humans but highly favoured by the Yourlazy.

Careful, this habitat has been designed so that the creature can ‘feed’ on its observers. You may leave this habitat feeling tired and unproductive.
